Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or Food Technology
At least 3–5 years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g. pharma, medical, healthcare)
Proven leadership experience in quality control or assurance
Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and food/pharma regulations
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Competencies: business acumen, critical thinking, strategy deployment, people development, planning & organizing, persuasiveness, relationship building, helicopter view

Responsibilities

Develop and implement QA policies and procedures for the QC domain
Translate strategy into annual plans and budgets, and ensure execution
Oversee quality control activities for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
Manage non-conformance handling and product complaints
Lead supplier assessments and audits
Ensure compliance with GMP and other relevant regulations
Release products and materials in accordance with Abbott and legal standards
Drive continuous improvement and process optimization
Lead, coach, and develop team members in line with HR policies
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and maintain visual management systems
