Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or Food Technology
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a regulated industry (e.g. pharma, medical, healthcare)
  • Proven leadership experience in quality control or assurance
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and food/pharma regulations
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • Competencies: business acumen, critical thinking, strategy deployment, people development, planning & organizing, persuasiveness, relationship building, helicopter view

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QA policies and procedures for the QC domain
  • Translate strategy into annual plans and budgets, and ensure execution
  • Oversee quality control activities for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
  • Manage non-conformance handling and product complaints
  • Lead supplier assessments and audits
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and other relevant regulations
  • Release products and materials in accordance with Abbott and legal standards
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members in line with HR policies
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and maintain visual management systems
