Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred
  • Minimum of three (1-3) years of proven Quality Assurance manufacturing experience as a Quality Auditor/Inspector and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide production support including precise measurement, receiving inspection, first article inspection, finished goods audit, and roving inspection utilizing micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machine
  • Under the guidance of the Quality Supervisor, reject bad components and execute piece parts, assembly, and shipping holds, utilizing a personal computer, SAP software programs, and other applicable department peripherals
  • Provide quality planning and instructions utilizing applicable department peripherals
  • Design and coordinate audits
  • Perform analysis of field returns and identify root causes for discrepancies utilizing applicable production peripherals
  • Identify differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards utilizing applicable production peripherals
  • Write documentation and reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction utilizing applicable production peripherals
  • Adhere to approved Company, Safety, and Department policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned or within the context of defined duties
