The candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on manual QA experience with MacOS and desktop applications. Experience managing external QA vendors, organizing and documenting test processes, and triaging technical issues is required. Strong communication skills, familiarity with remote collaboration tools like Slack, Linear, or Jira, and the ability to overlap at least 4 hours with the Eastern Time Zone are also necessary. Familiarity with automation testing and coding knowledge are considered a plus.
The QA Specialist will manage the external QA vendor, organize existing test suites for improved efficiency, and provide comprehensive test coverage. Responsibilities include writing clear test cases for new features, triaging, investigating, escalating, and helping resolve technical issues, and executing manual QA tests for MacOS and desktop applications to ensure quality before releases.
