High School diploma or equivalent
1 to 3 years of experience
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates
Exemplary listening skills for effective two-way communication
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone, talk, and hear
Ability to frequently sit and reach with hands and arms
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Check product in slots daily to ensure product set up for shipping meets acceptable standards
Communicate with buyers all quality issues and assist in resolving them to ensure highest quality products for customers
Ensure products are rotated properly during daily slot checking and communicate rotation problems to stockers and/or supervisors
Monitor variance reports for accurate accounting of spoilage, warehouse damage, truck damage, etc
Greet all internal and external customers in a friendly and efficient manner to maintain proper customer service, customer satisfaction, and organizational efficiency
Inspect inbound freight, warehoused product, and/or outbound product and document product condition
Convey regularly with necessary parties on the company's status on product quality
Analyze, identify, and propose action to solve problems associated with Quality Assurance
Observe all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies
Input orders through data entry while performing extensive customer service duties
Perform other related duties as required
