You will be joining one of our Live Studios, specifically working on Paper.io 2. We are committed to building an iconic and unforgettable game, driven by a small team of excellent individuals who manage every aspect from ideation to testing, with a strong intention to grow while upholding our high standards.


Role

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive testing, both manual and automated, of our mobile games. This involves identifying and documenting critical defects, taking ownership of the entire QA process to ensure quality and an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating processes and tools to enhance the overall quality of the game.
  • Monitoring the technical KPIs of our live games and proposing strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinating closely with design and development teams, understanding game mechanics, and providing essential feedback for product refinement.
  • Designing test plans for new features and releases.
  • Prioritizing and executing testing tasks efficiently across different development stages, aligning with project timelines and objectives.
  • Independently addressing and resolving identified issues.
  • Fostering an open feedback culture, actively participating in constructive dialogue with team members to promote collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborating with central tech teams on quality-related initiatives.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mobile game QA.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in Mobile Games, with a proven track record of ownership and successful project completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks from start to finish with minimal assistance and to identify and address issues independently and effectively.
  • A reliable self-starter and team player, capable of taking responsibility and contributing positively to team dynamics.
  • A passion for mobile games, with a keen understanding of player perspectives and expectations.
  • Proven experience utilizing various testing tools and methodologies for mobile games.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Free-to-Play (F2P) games and game design principles.
  • Release management experience is a plus.
  • Fluent English (speaking and writing).
