Requirements

  • Proven experience in QA leadership roles, with a strong focus on automation strategy and execution
  • Hands-on expertise with modern QA tools and frameworks: Playwright, Postman, Bruno, Virtuoso, Cucumber, SOAP UI, JMeter
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience in managing QA teams, including offshore and onshore coordination
  • Strong mentoring skills with a track record of developing QA teams
  • ISTQB / ISEB certification or equivalent practical experience
  • (Preferred) Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, and test data management
  • (Preferred) Exposure to AI/ML in testing, contract testing, and service virtualization

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve QA strategy, methodology, and automation framework
  • Drive adoption of automation-first and shift-left testing principles across all development teams
  • Align QA practices with DevSecOps and Agile delivery models, ensuring continuous integration and deployment readiness
  • Provide hands-on leadership in functional and non-functional test automation, including performance, security, and integration testing
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of modern QA tools and technologies (e.g., Playwright, Postman, Bruno, Virtuoso, Cucumber, SOAP UI, JMeter)
  • Define and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure and improve testing effectiveness
  • Manage and mentor QA team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Develop and execute training and certification plans to upskill QA engineers in automation, cloud testing, and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with offshore and in-house teams to ensure consistent application of QA standards and practices
  • Partner with Development Leads, Architects, and Product Owners to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Act as a quality evangelist, promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation in testing
