Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role and experience working with QA Automation teams. Expertise in QA methodologies, testing techniques, and tools (manual and automated), including familiarity with testing frameworks and test management tools is required. Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is essential, along with a strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and continuous development within the QA department. The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address defects are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The QA Manager will provide direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to QA Analysts and QA Automation engineers, ensuring effective collaboration and skill development. They will establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes and best practices, build a strategy for manual and automated testing for the future, and drive operational excellence by implementing and overseeing load and performance testing. The role involves working closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to define quality requirements, review test cases, and ensure alignment on product features and timelines. Responsibilities include leading the creation and execution of test plans, identifying and communicating key quality metrics, defects, and risks to stakeholders, and continuously assessing and improving testing processes, tools, and team performance.
