Requirements

Candidates must possess 3+ years of experience with ETL testing, including creating test cases for applications utilizing ETL components. They should be proficient in writing advanced SQL queries, understand data flow between systems and their data models, and have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering is required, along with familiarity with object-oriented programming and scripting languages such as Java or Python. Experience with Cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS and DevOps tools is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer in OpenData, you will identify project scope and expected outcomes, create test cases for applications utilizing ETL components, analyze ETL mapping documents, and write SQL queries to simulate ETL scenarios. You will test the accuracy and completeness of data, verify data source locations and formats, and work closely with data engineering functions to ensure a sustainable test approach. Additionally, you will automate ETL test cases, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and deliver solutions within an Agile environment.
