Candidates should possess at least two years of experience in automation testing, specifically with a focus on web applications, and strong experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Cypress, or Selenium. They should have experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, and a good understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and APIs (REST). Furthermore, candidates should demonstrate knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices, experience with version control systems like Git, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Familiarity with SQL for basic querying and data validation is also required.
The QA Engineer- Control Plane will develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications, design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of test automation within the CI/CD pipeline, identify and document bugs, analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, work with development teams to ensure quality, develop test strategies and plans, continuously optimize test automation for maximum efficiency and coverage, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
