Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with ETL testing, proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries, a strong understanding of data flow between systems and their data model, and experience with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS. They should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience automating features for regression coverage, and good verbal and written communication skills, along with experience working in an Agile environment. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering is required, and familiarity with object-oriented programming and scripting languages such as Java or Python is desirable.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer in OpenData, you will identify project scope, expected outcomes, and data models, create test cases for applications using ETL components, analyze ETL mapping documents, and test the accuracy and completeness of data. You will also check data source locations and formats, verify column and data type requirements, and work closely with data engineering functions to ensure a sustainable test approach, driving product excellence and customer success through functional testing of data pipelines and data systems.
