Candidates are required to have 7 years of experience in automated software testing, strong programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, expertise in Cypress.io for UI and API test automation, proficiency with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Argo Workflows for test orchestration and deployment validation, experience testing Micro Frontends and Microservices architecture, familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and GitOps workflows, a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, experience with test result dashboards (Mochawesome), and Slack notifications for test outcomes, and hands-on experience with CI/CD integration of automation tests.
The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Cypress automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript, build automation for Frontend Applications, implement automated validations for complex Kubernetes-deployed applications, integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Argo Workflows, contribute to system reliability by automating smoke, regression, and deployment validation tests, collaborate with developers and DevOps for smooth test execution on preview/QA environments, monitor and report on automation test results, coverage, and stability over builds, ensure proper data-testid usage and implement testability improvements, and perform automation test, black box testing, functional testing, smoke testing (automation), and regression testing (automation).
