Responsibilities

• Be a part of a truly cross-functional team, collaborating with FE, BE, Product Teams, Designers, and QA engineers.
• Participate in product planning, from discovery all the way to deployment, contributing input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to develop robust new features and APIs.
• Continuously improve our industry-leading products.
• Find and fix bugs at Deel Speed.
• Ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies (e.g., STD, STP).
• Experience with work item tools like Jira.
• Knowledge of SQL queries.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with a strong knowledge of:
  • Programming Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Test Runners: Mocha/Jest (or any other test runner)
  • End-to-End Testing Tools: Playwright/Cypress
  • API Testing Tools: Axios/Got/Postman (or any other tool for REST API testing)
  • CI/CD Processes
