Requirements

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer with a strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies like STD and STP. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, test runners such as Mocha/Jest, automation tools like Playwright/Cypress, REST API testing tools (Axios, Got, Postman), and CI/CD processes is required. Experience with work item tools like Jira and knowledge of SQL queries are also necessary. The ideal candidate excels at designing, writing, running, maintaining, and debugging applications, and is adept at both manual and automation testing.

Responsibilities

The QA Automation Engineer will participate in the entire Software Development Lifecycle, from discovery to deployment, contributing to product planning. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FE, BE, Product, Designers, and other QA engineers, to develop new features, APIs, and continuously improve products. Responsibilities include finding and fixing bugs at speed, ensuring customers receive a high-quality experience with Deel's products, and working effectively in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
