Responsibilities

• Be a part of a truly cross-functional team, collaborating with FE, BE, Product Teams, Designers, and QA.
• Participate in product planning from discovery through deployment, contributing input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to develop robust new features and APIs.
• Continuously improve our industry-leading products.
• Find and fix bugs at "Deel Speed."
• Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience with our products.

Technical Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Excellent understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies (STD, STP).
• Experience with work item tools like Jira.
• Knowledge of SQL queries.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with strong knowledge in:
  • Programming Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Test Runners: Mocha/Jest (or any other)
  • End-to-End Testing Tools: Playwright/Cypress
  • API Testing Tools: Axios/Got/Postman (or any other)
  • Processes: CI/CD processes
