Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on backend systems and data processing
Proven experience building and maintaining complex microservices and backend architectures that handle large-scale data workflows
Proficiency in Django for developing scalable backend applications and admin interfaces
Hands-on experience working in Linux environments, ability to configure, troubleshoot, and deploy services using Linux-based systems
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and reusable design patterns
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design principles
Familiarity with AWS ecosystem tools (EC2, RDS, Elasticache, IAM, and VPC Networking)
Experience with front-end technologies such as React is a plus
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and data processing pipelines that drive iDerive’s analytics capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data, Product, and Engineering, to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable solutions
Build and enhance Django-based admin interfaces to improve data management and internal workflows
Develop and deploy Python applications within AWS Lambda and other cloud services to ensure optimized serverless performance
Design, implement, and optimize relational database schemas to ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and supports maintainability
Participate in code reviews, contribute to improving development standards, and mentor junior developers as needed
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements in architecture, automation, and deployment practices
Support deployment and maintenance processes to ensure reliability, uptime, and continuous integration
