Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
  • Priority Skills: Python, PySpark, Datalake
  • Required Skills: Technologies - Azure Cloud (Azure Kubernetes, Docker, ADLS Gen2, KeyVault, any DBMS) or equivalent on Amazon or Google Cloud
  • Required Skills: DevOps - Experience with CI/CD, Github
  • Required Skills: Additional Tools - Familiarity with JupyterHub, Hive
  • Required Skills: Soft Skills - Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment, autonomous, and proactive
  • Comprehensive understanding of the required technical skills for the position
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with team members

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data solutions to establish new data processing flows on various platforms, including the Azure cloud
  • Develop and deploy efficient and reliable data pipelines
  • Maintain and/or evolve existing solutions to meet changing dynamic business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver effective data solutions
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
