Responsibilities

Attend patients at assigned sites and via telehealth
Provide psychiatric evaluations
Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants
Oversee residents and fellows during educational rotations
Support patient admissions
Participate in protocol development
Contribute to quality assurance and peer review evaluations
Provide written and verbal discharge summaries to referring physicians
Refer patients to outpatient care after discharge, unless otherwise preferred by the patient
Cover additional locations or “Sites” as needed due to patient availability or provider shortages
Accept referrals from medical physicians and psychiatrists
