Responsibilities

  • Attend patients at assigned sites and via telehealth
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants
  • Oversee residents and fellows during educational rotations
  • Support patient admissions
  • Participate in protocol development
  • Contribute to quality assurance and peer review evaluations
  • Provide written and verbal discharge summaries to referring physicians
  • Refer patients to outpatient care after discharge, unless otherwise preferred by the patient
  • Cover additional locations or “Sites” as needed due to patient availability or provider shortages
  • Accept referrals from medical physicians and psychiatrists
