Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and ideally have at least 2 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role. Familiarity with blockchain technologies and distributed systems is preferred, along with a strong understanding of security best practices.
The Protocol Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure and systems related to Galaxy’s blockchain participation and custody offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements, deploying and securing validator infrastructure, maintaining validator nodes, enhancing automation workflows, monitoring network performance, and implementing robust security measures while collaborating with blockchain protocols and partners.
