Requirements

  • Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph
  • 9 years of experience (combination of work experience and education: bachelor’s degree + 5 years, associate’s degree + 7 years, or high school diploma + 9 years)
  • Knowledge of automated inventory control systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with data entry into SAP/AM

Responsibilities

  • Identify, track, and manage government and contractor-accountable property while maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Oversee the receipt, delivery, transfer, and disposition of assets in compliance with applicable government regulations, utilizing AssetSmart as the system of record
  • Demonstrate initiative and effective follow-through in all tasks
  • Apply expertise in configuration management, life cycle support, document control, database management, and logistics engineering for hardware
  • Ensure the safeguarding and proper handling of goods by collaborating with property staff to facilitate efficient movement of Government Accountable Property (GAP) and Contractor Accountable Property (CAP)
  • Compile data and maintain up-to-date inventory of all GAP & CAP assets
  • Own the CAP system of record; standardize property in the CAP system, updating cost and all fields necessary to align with government reporting
  • Conduct trainings for staff on CAP system of record processes
  • Update records in Help Now to reflect AssetSmart, streamlining duplicates
  • Track removal and addition of equipment to the customer network and report updates to the procurement team for maintenance equipment list updates
  • Develop and maintain the logistics team's processes and procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor and report on fulfillment of requirements for various customer reporting systems
  • Assist logistics leads in managing worldwide logistics operations from a CAP perspective
  • Work with key stakeholders on submission of CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements Lists)
  • As a custodial property officer (CPO), approve equipment transfers for hub and tail sites
  • Assist in development of site inventory plans; monitor and report on inventory status at CAP sites
  • Track and monitor disposal of equipment across the program, ensuring documentation is signed within requirements
  • Track and report on all return material authorization (RMA) deliveries and turn-ins at sites; ensure equipment is added/removed from maintenance lists
  • Collaborate with site personnel to ensure consumable property stock levels are properly maintained
  • Track, trace, and update status of shipments as needed
  • Successfully conduct and complete all assigned training
  • Travel up to 30% of the year to inventory and manage equipment lifecycle at remote locations
  • Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance database and historical document records
