Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college related to construction management, architecture, or engineering; or Associate's Degree and 2 years of experience in construction management, inspection, and/or monitoring of construction projects
Strong computer skills with MS Office and AutoCAD required; additional experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant construction software preferred
Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Resides in the area of New York, NY
Provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based accolades, including academic degree, before time of interview

Responsibilities

Assist Project Officers in overseeing work performed across various school projects in New York City
Review documents submitted for City required building and other permits for completeness and accuracy
Maintain database of information, both physically and digitally, ensuring all information is readily available for review and audit
Provide support to permit applicants in completing the filing procedure with various City agencies
Deliver documents to various city agencies for data entry, review and/or approval
May be required to work closely with Plan Examiners in reviewing documents for City Building Code and for guaranteeing compliance
Research existing building status from City records at various agencies
Perform related tasks
