Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent
Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of related natural gas distribution and/or general construction experience
Project management experience required
Ability to develop and present reports within the organization
Strong computer and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to make decisions in a timely manner
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences internally and externally
Knowledge of geothermal and/or distribution systems, gas construction standards and procedures preferred
Ability to become Operator Qualified under the DOT Program
Valid Driver’s license required
PMP Project Management Professional preferred
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
No immigration sponsorship required; must be authorized to work without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

Assist with designing large/mid ($1M to $3M) complex construction projects (e.g., gate stations, regulator pits, large scale sales projects)
Develop special bids in conjunction with Engineering and Procurement departments
Assist in determining the best route of projects and developing timelines and budgets
Develop project scope, review bids, and make recommendations to Manager regarding contractor selection
Plan and schedule projects in conjunction with the Planning and Scheduling Department to develop timelines and ensure resource availability
Supervise projects under construction in the field and provide oversight and direction to construction crews for gas pipeline installations
Ensure adherence to procedures on projects and collaborate with engineering to manage changes
Review and approve all invoices and change orders
Assist in development of reports for Regulatory (PURA) agencies, including projections, timelines, contractor selections, etc
Represent Eversource Gas Construction Department at meetings, town hall meetings, and special meetings
