Requirements

  • Contribution to intern program, mentoring Interns, Project Engineers, and APMs

  • Potential supervisory responsibilities over Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Intern

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in RFP responses, including developing presentations and participating in the pitch
  • Ensure effective internal team communication flow
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with trade partners and the design team
  • Ensure effective document control reporting and communication flow to the client
  • Prepare accurate and timely budgets and bids, scope reviews, leveling of trade partner bids, and participation in pricing presentations to the client
  • Manage project cost control, including monitoring general conditions and labor, managing monthly billing, and reviewing/validating trade partner change pricing
  • Minimize risk by ensuring accurate and complete subcontracts are written and executed timely with prequalified trade partners, and obtaining certificates of insurance
  • Heavy coordination with superintendent, including frequent site visits to monitor onsite progress
  • Ensure effective and efficient project closeout, including providing documentation to the owner, timely punchlist completion, and accurate financial closeout
  • Support the project Team Lead with client retention by adding value in preconstruction, contributing to successful project buyout, accurate cost forecasting, timely billings, and receivables tracking
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management by attending industry events, networking, and developing relationships with clients and designers
  • Attend career fairs and client/industry events
  • Utilize Clune systems and technology proficiently to work efficiently
  • Contribute to company growth by participating in the intern program and mentoring Interns, Project Engineers, and APMs
  • Report and achieve project financial goals, working in all phases from budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, through closeout
