Requirements

  • Experience with direct non-industrial construction management
  • Familiarity with SWLA, as well as knowledge and understanding of relevant ordinances, permitting processes and real estate/land
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential material and planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other applications as needed for effective job performance
  • High level of multi-tasking and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support and oversight of Lighthouse Bend
  • Work with Development Team members to develop and execute a comprehensive 3- and/or 5-year development plan for Cameron Parish (e.g. grocery store, residential housing, healthcare, etc.)
  • Lead and manage non-industrial construction projects from inception to completion, including but not limited to planning, methodologies, permitting, schedules and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and safety regulations throughout construction
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of all contractors and field personnel
  • Identify potential issues and provide regular status updates
  • Maintain strong relationships and work collaboratively with regulators and a variety of local stakeholders
  • Manage all aspects of non-construction special projects
  • Other duties as required and assigned
