Requirements

  • 2+ Years of Bond Management Experience
  • 5+ Years of Land Development Experience
  • GED and/or associate degree
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF or BlueBeam
  • Organizational Skills and Self-Motivation (Key in a Virtual Work Environment)
  • Relevant working experience in the land development and site development industries
  • Strong customer service
  • Clear understanding of the bond release process

Responsibilities

  • Researching the bonds & agreements on file with the jurisdictions
  • Compiling the paperwork required from engineers, utility companies and developers for the jurisdiction and state bond release checklists
  • Meetings with the jurisdiction inspectors to review the paperwork and site conditions
  • Coordination with contractors to address deficiencies noted for the project
  • Walk job sites to verify and document conditions, improvements and repairs made
  • Facilitate progress on daily basis towards achieving bond release by developing strong relationships with jurisdiction representatives and being a pleasant pest as needed
  • Work with internal Director to obtain answers to client questions in a timely manner
  • Prepare bond extension and reduction paperwork
  • Follow up with project consultants and contractors as needed to track down bond release related paperwork
