Requirements

  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Food Technology (M.Tech is an added advantage)
  • Overall experience >10 years
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in detail engineering of equipment used in Food & Beverage, Chemical, Biopharma, or Project industry
  • Fluency in both German and English communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, SAP MM&PP, CAD Viewer
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership for Engineering activities for the projects
  • Consult the Sales, Application and Execution organization on critical contract execution requirements
  • Mitigate risks and resolve critical discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform equipment and piping sizing, prepare P&ID, technical datasheets for Pumps, Vessels, Tanks, Valves, Instruments, Heat exchangers, and conduct 3D piping review
  • Manage Engineering changes during the project, including related information, communication, and agreements on cost/time impacts
  • Demonstrate detailed understanding of Hygienic international codes and standards (e.g., EHEDG, ASME BPE, AWS D18.1, D18.2, D18.3) and filtration separation and purification technologies (e.g., Direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, stabilization) used in food and beverage process equipment
  • Conduct Technical Bid Evaluation of equipment supplier documentation
  • Act as a technical expert/coach and point of contact within the team to develop the organization by coaching internal and external partners on daily work and critical technical issues
  • Plan, develop, and follow processes (internal/external) necessary to design and deliver engineering technical documentation for Filtration systems per technical requirements, within budget, and with specified quality in collaboration with partners (suppliers), focusing on KPIs: Right First Time, On time, and process compliance
