Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the Civil Engineering field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related program
  • PE (Professional Engineering) license (preferred)
  • Experience working on land/site development projects
  • Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including public speaking

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of commercial and residential land development projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare design reports and analyses
  • Perform code searches and assist in reviewing local, county, state, and federal project codes
  • Prepare technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design) for permitting and construction
  • Create a complete set of contract documents and specifications
  • Prepare stormwater calculations and assist in completing permits
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate each phase of the project
  • Coordinate with Ware Malcomb consultants and client's consultants for complete, coordinated contract documents
  • Provide construction services, including site visits and reviewing shop drawings
