Responsibilities

  • Operationalize scientific programs to develop and scale high-dimensional phenotyping capabilities
  • Manage a small group of scientists executing the scientific agenda set by leadership
  • Turn research goals into concrete roadmaps and ensure efficient execution across projects
  • Prioritize work, set milestones, identify bottlenecks, and ensure team is resourced, aligned, and focused
  • Drive communication about research progress across teams, scientific program leads, and leadership for alignment and iteration
  • Within 1 month: Understand scientific vision/goals/structure, build relationships, design 90-day plan, establish tracking systems, coordinate timelines/dependencies
  • Within 2-3 months: Own project execution, facilitate communication on priorities/deliverables, identify risks/bottlenecks/resources, refine operational rhythms
  • By 6 months: Establish consistent execution, synthesize learnings/updates for stakeholders, strengthen team collaboration via clarified interfaces/expectations/milestones, create systems enabling scientific leads to focus on strategy
