Requirements

Preferred degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other business-related fields or similar relevant work experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Careful attention to detail and reliability of output
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted financial resource for construction projects and primary liaison between operations and corporate finance
Handle financial reporting, compliance, and processing for projects ranging from $1 million to $100 million
Compile owner requisitions and resolve internal audit findings
Process subcontractor requisitions and accounts payable
Manage consumable materials purchasing and equipment inventory monitoring
Manage field payroll
Assist with project setup, closeout, and owner contract review and readiness
Track and report small business activities
Support monthly project financial forecasts
Analyze and interpret monthly cost reports
Monitor key performance indicators
Monitor and forecast project cash-flow
Monitor and reconcile change orders
Contribute to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting
Maintain thorough knowledge of company contracts and all involved parties
Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity
Lead, train, and develop project team members
Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining priorities and issues
Support project close-out, including turnover of manuals and warranties, and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering, and design firms
Establish deadlines and monitor project progress
Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity
Exceed stakeholders’ expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goals
Constantly innovate to achieve process improvement and efficiency
Drive a culture of safety in the workplace
