Requirements

  • Minimal to no supervision required to perform the job
  • Ability to read and write
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to use tools required for the job
  • Skilled and trained on all facets of the air test and final preparation of base products
  • Skilled and certified on use of overhead crane
  • Skilled and certified on forklift
  • Ability to do stud welding
  • Ability to do high-level rigging
  • Ability to do grinding, drilling, tapping
  • Ability to do layouts without supervision
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Air Tester

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all of TurboFab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines
  • Check own work for compliance to specifications
  • Use all necessary equipment and tools required to perform work
  • Ensure that procedures have been followed and quality has not been compromised
  • Keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures
  • Follow the Air Testing procedures
  • Test for leaks, clean the bases, do minor paint touch ups, prepare the bases for shipment or transfer
  • Rig, lift and load bases to trucks using overhead cranes, as required
