Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in digital media, programming, analysis, including hands-on CMS, Scheduling tools, deep spreadsheet and data analysis experience
  • Intricate knowledge of the sporting landscape – US sport is a bonus!
  • Experience in a fast paced, 24/7 editorial environment preferred with proven ability to work autonomously and communicatively
  • Process driven, with an understanding of broadcast and/or digital operational workflows
  • High level of creativity and able to demonstrate innovation and imagination with content promotion; externally focused and actively look for ‘best practice’ and assesses market and competitive activity for insights
  • Superior time management - including the ability to prioritise, manage
  • Passionate about sports and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Sharp attention to detail and natural ability to troubleshoot and find solutions
  • Strong sense of curation and genuine love for sport
  • Ability to work Thursday – Monday week during normal office hours

Responsibilities

  • Build, publish and manage ESPN content on Disney+ ANZ in the Disney CMS to maximize audience engagement and retention
  • Ensure the Disney+ platform is up to date with the latest ESPN content made available through our delivery workflow
  • Quality Assure ESPN content as it is published to the Disney+ platform, checking that content plays out as expected, appears in the planned placements and all information is accurate, localised, and is of highest editorial standard
  • Identify, triage and escalate urgent issues through to support channels as required
  • Work closely with the broader ESPN teams to wireframe the service each week, prioritizing events and programs depending on a variety of global/local requirements, and in the editorial tone of voice of the ANZ service
  • Assist in the trafficking of artwork assets and metadata by working closely with local creative and ESPN Programming teams
