Experienced people leader ready to lead night shift with less support
Goal-orientated with a huge people development focus
Excellent organisational skills to plan ahead
Confident, flexible, and forward-thinking team player attitude
Brilliant attention to detail and passion for solving problems with systems and data
Great communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to lead a motivating team brief
Understanding of performance management and building high performing teams
HACCP and Food safety qualifications

Responsibilities

Run the shift with the management team; lead team briefs, ensure positive culture, and help team grow through training and 1:1’s
Handle HR tasks like recruitment and investigations
Act as a safety champion, prioritising health and safety
Ensure compliance with food safety (GMP) and equipment rules, including equipment checks (e.g., racking and pallets)
Focus on operational goals like OTIF, stock accuracy, efficient picking and labour; utilise systems and data to manage targets
Manage all stock movements for the shift, both physically and in the WMS system
Directly manage Section and Team Leaders on-shift, with responsibility for Inbound and Outbound operations
