Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing or construction industry (preferred)
  • Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions and specific instructions
  • Good communication skills; fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  • Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves) at all times in plant operations area

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety policies, programs, and procedures
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products per quality specifications
  • Conduct quality checks at regular intervals
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard work instructions
  • Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
  • Enter waste and downtime data into system
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Run the production line, including operating machinery
  • Ensure raw materials are fed properly through the manufacturing process
  • Resolve line stoppages
  • Clear equipment jams
  • Verify finished products against quality specifications
  • Ensure products are properly prepared for shipment
  • Additional duties as assigned
