Requirements

  • Previous experience working with chemicals/flammable liquids in an industrial environment
  • Hold a current Australian forklift licence (LF)
  • Applicants holding a current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence will be reviewed favourably
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail as paperwork is involved in this position
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual heavy lifting (25kg)
  • A commitment to ensuring safe operations and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • 2x contactable references
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia
  • Must undergo a National Police History check

Responsibilities

  • Picking of raw materials to make batches of custom liquid chemicals (Class 3 Flammables)
  • Mixing chemical blends to varying concentrations as per specifications
  • Pumping of chemicals into bulk-tanker trucks and packages ranging from 5 litres to 1,000 litres
  • Operating a forklift to pick materials and load/unload trucks and containers
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy production area and ensuring the site is kept clear of hazards
