Responsibilities

  • Work closely with discipline supervisors and/or leads in crewing, casting, and scheduling the discipline’s body of work, considering overall show schedule, client reviews, bids, and other discipline needs
  • Establish a process for communicating discipline targets, assignments, and priorities to artist crew and overall show crew
  • Schedule, track, and manage assigned work within the ILM Internal Tracking Tool
  • Ensure work is on schedule for the department and meets internal and client deadlines; check in regularly with artists on workload, targets, and needs
  • Set up turnovers with department crew, communicating turnover information to assigned artists
  • Track client needs, reviews, and deliveries to ensure department hits targets
  • Serve as key communication liaison between all relevant parties, providing updates, priorities, reschedules, and shot status
  • Anticipate and communicate issues to leadership teams for timely solutions
  • Supervise, delegate to, and train assigned Production Assistants
  • Act as primary point person for organizing dailies/shot reviews on behalf of department Supervisor or Lead; take notes on feedback/decisions and enter into Internal Tracking System
  • Prioritization and escalation of technical support issues
  • Perform special projects as needed
