Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, medical technology, health sciences, or a relevant Medical Certification, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Specialist, Clinical Specialist, Nurse, or Biomedical Engineer in the healthcare industry. Operating room experience is highly preferred, and fluency in both Spanish and English (minimum C1 level) is required, as is a valid driver's license. A Master's degree and experience with clinical training and education programs are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Product Specialist will be responsible for setting up, rolling out, and managing designated product lines within a specific area, supporting agents and distributors in sales, and providing customer support in partnership with sales teams. This role involves providing clinical product support to end-users, including guidance during Mako surgical procedures, training surgeons and hospital staff on the Mako robot, and preparing pre-operative CT scans for surgical planning. The specialist will troubleshoot technical issues, collaborate with Field Service teams, build expertise in implants and instrumentation, and educate staff on clinical benefits. Responsibilities also include achieving regional sales budgets through action plans, customer care, organizing training, identifying Key Opinion Leaders, coordinating product logistics, and reporting sales developments to management.
