Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of FPGA experience including minimum of 3+ years in a customer facing role
  • Demonstratable understanding of FPGA architectures
  • Familiarity with High Speed SerDes interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR), timing closure and power optimizations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into Business value
  • Strong problem solving and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical bridge between customers, product management and engineering for the FPGA product line
  • Define system level solutions and create reference architectures
  • Guide product direction to ensure FPGA platforms meet market needs
  • Develop end-to-end FPGA based solutions and system architectures targeting markets such as datacenter acceleration, AI/ML, networking, automotive and/or industrial
  • Identify optimal hardware/software partitioning across FPGA Fabric, processor and external components
  • Collaborate with customers, FAE and sales organization to understand application requirements and translate them into FPGA silicon & software roadmaps
  • Work closely with product management to influence FPGA feature set and define solution level requirements for IP, tools and reference platforms
  • Partner with hardware & software teams to ensure cohesive solution level delivery
  • Publish white papers and present at conferences to showcase FPGA innovative use cases
