A Product Owner certification or a strong willingness to obtain one within 6-12 months is preferred, along with foundational knowledge of product management principles and agile methodologies. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and demonstrated organizational skills are required. Proficiency in user interface design, component architecture, and design systems is also necessary.
The Product Owner will represent business stakeholder needs to agile teams, collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and clarify objectives, and assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog with well-defined user stories. They will work closely with Product Managers and development teams for product increment delivery, support sprint planning by clarifying requirements and defining acceptance criteria, and participate in agile ceremonies to ensure alignment. Responsibilities also include coordinating dependencies, communicating blockers, triaging defects, gathering user feedback for backlog grooming, documenting features, and supporting sprint demos for stakeholder validation.
