Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Experience as a Product Manager for one or more mobile free-to-play products
  • Deep knowledge of mobile free-to-play games, their relevant audiences, and the gaming industry overall
  • Experience working with diverse teams that span continents
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including asynchronous interactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment, handle stress appropriately, solve practical problems, and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice
  • Regularly play Pokémon GO
  • Required in-office 2 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Think big and look beyond today’s constraints to identify big, product-defining opportunities
  • Understand Trainers and the industry by deeply caring for Trainers, constantly learning about their experiences, following gaming trends, gathering market and competitor intelligence, and using findings to inform strategy and roadmap
  • Communicate effectively to influence and persuade the Pokémon GO team towards product-defining opportunities and convince product and company leadership to trust you
  • Prioritize by figuring out the possible impact of potential work, weighing it against required effort, without shying away from big opportunities
  • Call your shots by understanding the right amount of data needed to forecast impact, ensuring work is measured, and shipping work that delivers against forecasts
  • Execute by doing whatever it takes to help the team ship
