Requirements

  • A track record of Product Management working on free to play game(s)
  • Hands on experience designing, building and maintaining features and events in games
  • Good knowledge of the free to play games market and best practices from top performing games with understanding of why they are succeeding
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Drive - Strong drive to succeed and “get it done” attitude
  • Scientific approach - using logical data-led hypothesis approach, with well structured thinking built on an understanding of the connection between a KPI and the changes needed to improve it
  • Analytical ability, with experience running and reading out on experiments, feature or live ops launches and investigating game performance issues

Responsibilities

  • Design, scope and implement features, improvements and events that result in an outstanding gameplay experience for our players and positively inflect metrics
  • Be entrepreneurial, getting hands on to test out new ideas, setting up experiments, events, offers, bundles and live operations to maximise the game’s performance
  • Use user and competitive research, along with performance data analysis to identify opportunities to grow the game
  • Partner with other parts of the organisation including Consumer Insights and Product Marketing to maximise the impact of your features and events
  • Understand and forecast the performance of the game, live ops, and your features using dashboards and analysis, communicating this with the wider team
  • Be a player champion, paying close attention to the player experience
