Requirements

  • Experience managing technical software products from vision to going to market
  • Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and inspiring other product managers
  • Experience building and nurturing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence
  • Experience setting a high bar for product strategy and execution, guiding team members in their professional growth, and ensuring they are empowered to deliver significant business impact
  • BA/BS degree in engineering, business, finance, or other related fields
  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills
  • Excellent at managing competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Craft the vision and strategy for the core identity platform, focusing on onboarding (KYC), financial crime risk, and other regulatory obligations
  • Lead the product roadmap for the Identity Platform to enable faster, cheaper, and more transparent financial systems at scale
  • Build a world-class platform for storing and orchestrating all user information at Wise
  • Enable product teams to ship new products faster and more effectively, operational teams to utilize user data reliably and privacy-friendly, and risk/compliance teams to have full oversight of users
  • Translate the platform vision into clear, measurable goals and inspire teams to achieve them
  • Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the product roadmap, working with empowered teams to define the product's direction
  • Communicate long-term strategy with gravitas while keeping the team aligned on near-term goals and milestones
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, fostering ownership and excellence, and supporting their growth and development
  • Act as a key advisor on deeply technical topics, distilling complex concepts and ensuring technical decisions align with product strategy, vision, roadmap, and stakeholder expectations
  • Serve as the central point of contact, collaborating with growth teams to understand their goals/needs and ensure the platform supports their objectives and company growth
  • Own the platform's vision as a foundational enabler and growth engine for the business
