Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
More than 3 years of design work experience in a relevant area (preferred: junction box or fuse box design experience)
Deep knowledge of injection molding and metal stamping
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Strong CAD capability (CATIA/UG/Pro E)
Ability to present design proposals to customers and obtain approval

Responsibilities

Design plastic and components (2D and 3D) for Electrical Centers in vehicles
Develop validation plans and follow up on validation progress
Present APTIV design proposals to customers and secure customer approval
Attend customer vehicle build events and resolve related issues
Setup, maintain, and update the design database
Lead cross-functional teams to implement Engineering changes
Ensure adherence to all EC work procedures
