Requirements

  • Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, or other)
  • At least basic knowledge of wire harness design

Responsibilities

  • Calculation of material changes in the wire harness (creation of the "add/delete" list)
  • Creation and maintenance of the required technical and quality documentation
  • Maintaining continuous contact and providing support to the customer center, manufacturing site, and other locations
  • Ensuring analysis is completed in accordance with industry, customer, and Aptiv standards
  • Analyzing and evaluating product change requests
  • Using internal and commercial tools to calculate material changes and provide Bills of Materials
