Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Design, Product Management, Engineering, Materials, and Factory Product Creation Teams to inform, drive, and facilitate decisions meeting design vision, athlete performance, and product excellence
  • Develop processes and tools to push boundaries and create solutions for Jordan’s game-changing footwear products
  • Provide project and process direction within Jordan Adult and Kid’s Footwear Development teams, both locally and in Asia
  • Serve as key point of contact for overseas partners, ensuring clear and accurate communication
  • Recommend and specify material, component, and construction options to meet key features and product performance goals
  • Engage in all phases of the product process to ensure projects are completed on time, commercialized, and manufactured at scale while meeting design intent for performance, costing, and sustainability goals
  • Convert project brief and 2D design into 3D sample meeting team, consumer, and business needs, enabling timely decision-making
  • Lead, guide, and follow through on decisions for timely product confirmation and sample delivery
  • Execute product creation according to critical dates and performance/profitability goals
  • Work with multi-functional teammates to ensure manufacturability of product concepts
  • Utilize footwear knowledge and instruments to achieve project designs effectively
  • Apply understanding of Adult and Kid’s standard methodologies to identify product and testing requirements, and assure product performance through physical and field-testing (fit)
  • Enhance product and process excellence using knowledge and experience
