Candidates should have a strong design portfolio that showcases their design process and finished work. A deep understanding of user experience best practices and the ability to design for various screen sizes is essential. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams are required, along with a strong eye for design, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy. Experience with frontend development is a plus, but not mandatory.
The Product Designer will serve as a shared design resource across all product touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive experience for both vehicle buyers and business users. They will utilize Figma to create and document design systems and UX patterns while collaborating with product managers and engineers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces. The role involves translating design concepts into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, as well as spec’ing new features with a focus on aesthetics, usability, and performance. Additionally, the designer will guide and mentor junior designers to foster continuous improvement in design practices.
