Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years procurement experience or Master’s Degree in field with 3+ years procurement experience
  • Experience supporting PPV, MUV, and inventory targets
  • Familiarity with Oracle or similar MRP software navigation within the procurement and material management modules
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for special projects as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Overall day-to-day Procurement team duties and standard work
  • Take ownership and uphold all corporate and site/department-specific physical and financial inventory targets while ensuring material availability in support of site production goals
  • Support Procurement Audits and Training requirements, provides direction to and establishes policies in conjunction with Operations Procurement Manager
  • Direct resolution of complex problems across sub-functions and departmental lines
  • Drive the analysis and review of demand data to support purchasing and planning decisions both short and long term to ensure continuity of supply
  • Improve inventory performance and drive positive cash flow by expanding our Kanban program, adjusting safety stocks, and improving lead times
  • Manage vendor relationships to develop and champion characteristics of preferred suppliers
  • Support site freight budget management as well as other pertinent KPI’s
