Requirements

Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and perform repetitive motions
Knowledge of safety procedures related to handling coatings, chemicals, and protective equipment

Responsibilities

Apply coatings and paints to aerospace parts using spray equipment or manual techniques
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, roughen, or prepare surfaces for coating
Prepare parts for finishing by masking and unmasking components according to work instructions
Ensure uniform and defect-free finishes by carefully following process guidelines
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications to determine finishing requirements
Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations
Follow safety procedures and properly handle hazardous materials, including paints and solvents
Complete production logs and documentation as required
