Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in an engineering role (e.g., process engineer, R&D, Quality Control).
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with external warehouses and internal cross-functional teams.
• Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Warehouse Management: Proficiency in warehouse management and incoming inspection processes.
• Technical Skills: Ability to use spreadsheets, word-processing, presentation, database, and management information systems.
• Language Skills: Native Japanese, Business level English (e.g., TOEIC score over 700).

Responsibilities

• Handle daily processing and inspection of orders to the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Prioritize order processing promptly and accurately.
• Understand product specifications and establish appropriate inspection standards.
• Communicate with RA (Regulatory Affairs) and prepare hazard labels to comply with domestic regulations.
• Establish and monitor inspection and calibration processes for hardware products.
• Communicate with external repair centers and monitor their KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, 3PL supervisor) to resolve warehouse-related issues.
• Analyze warehouse costs for improvement and optimization of operations.
• Track KPIs such as warehouse cost.
• Assist other team members as a backup resource.
• Potentially, participate in special ad-hoc projects (e.g., global SAP integration).
