Requirements
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on work with gas and/or water piping and valve selection
- Hands-on experience in the development and deployment of novel chemical systems
- Solid understanding of Process Safety Management requirements (PHA; HAZOP)
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA, EPA)
- Great communicator and execution ability in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to frequently travel to customer sites
- Prior hands-on experience working in an industrial company
- Preferred
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D) in Chemical Engineering or relevant field
- Electrolyzer experience
- Analyzing energy systems
- Working with hydrogen or similar gases
- Equipment commissioning experience at chemical facilities
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Process Design of Fourier electrolyzer stackups
- Responsible for planning, integrating, and ensuring compatibility at customer sites
- Ensure that the Fourier Electrolyzer meets and exceeds customer safety and performance expectations
- Design and prototype tools to help with deployment
- Be able to effectively communicate, collaborate, and partner with the Engineering team to collect and analyze data to improve system performance
- High level of problem-solving ability to quickly debug on-site issues
