B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
Motivation and ingenuity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Presentation planning and delivery skills
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Computer operation skills (Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Auto Cad)
Experience using Lean and continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

Analyze and assist in the improvement of the manufacturing process and products
Plan, develop, budget, and execute improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve the customer experience
Lead, facilitate, execute, and manage projects (process and capital) using Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies
Work with Operations to develop best practices and standard work to solve manufacturing problems and drive continuous improvement
Review plant KPI monitoring systems and identify opportunities for improvement
Prepare accurate expenditure proposals and cost justification analysis
Present findings to plant and corporate management
Assemble reports to document process status and changes
Train and provide instructions to production, maintenance, and engineering personnel
