Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Bachelor's in Engineering or higher preferred)
  • Less than 1 year of related experience (1 or more years preferred); equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Intermediate Computer Skills
  • Intermediate Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills
  • Intermediate Verbal and Written Communications Skills
  • Strong Analytical and Statistical Analysis Skills; Statistical Process Control Software Skills
  • Proactive and ability to work in a Cross-Discipline team environment

  • Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers
  • Lab tool/test/measurement equipment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise throughout the manufacturing process, including guidance on best practices and equipment
  • Optimize production for efficiency and quality
  • Train various teams and support ongoing production activities
  • Ensure manufacturability of new products while adhering to standards
  • Lead new product introduction processes
  • Develop high-quality, cost-appropriate manufacturing solutions/services that satisfy customer requirements
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for creation, analysis, and verification
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of Plexus Manufacturing processes, Product Requirements & Specifications as applicable to the role
  • Execute responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' Manufacturing Processes
  • Produce comprehensive project documentation based on project needs, in accordance with quality and change management procedures and guidelines
