Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must have at least 2-5 years of experience in security engineering, security risk analysis, threat modeling, or a related discipline, and demonstrate strong knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.

Responsibilities

As a Principle Security Engineer, you will develop threat models and conduct security risk analysis for various systems and applications while implementing security technologies across the organization. This includes performing comprehensive security risk assessments and vulnerability analysis, leading small areas of risk analysis or specialized security assessment projects, coordinating security tasks and providing technical guidance to team members, contributing to security architecture decisions and design reviews, analyzing security requirements and translating them into technical implementations, supporting security initiatives such as penetration testing and security automation, documenting security findings and providing recommendations for risk mitigation, participating in knowledge sharing and contributing to security best practices, and conducting threat modeling.
